For those that are not familiar with Camp Mu Ji Gai, it is one of the few Korean Culture Camps in the US. It happens to take place right in our backyard in Albany NY. It happens once a year for 3 very special days. I was lucky enough to have been apart of this growing up as a child. Its one of the places that will never leave me. The purpose is to teach adopted Koreans a little about where they come from, Korean culture, Heritage, Sports, Food, and Friends. I have many fond memories from this place growing up and have loved these past 2 days so far. I am the camps Volunteer Photographer, taking the group photos and candids of the kids. This is the least I can do for such a great organization.
Please feel free to look into the camp for more information!

Matt and I took the weekend and headed out to Boston to meet up with some other photography friends. We had a crazy Canadian, two troublesome Texans, us New Yawkers, and a whole bunch of New Englanders come together.
Saturday we spent in Boston all day:
Gilbert & Marissa causing trouble downtown

I’m not quite sure what Chris is doing, but I thought this was a funny shot (no pun intended!)

For Father’s Day we spent the day in Rhode Island, starting out at the Brick Alley Pub (Matt’s favorite) and Matt had his classic Lobster Bisque and a Lobster Roll. Lily seemed to enjoy the menu!

We then headed out to Brenton Point and Fort Adams to spend some time on the ocean.

All said, it was a great weekend! It was great to meet the “foreigners”, and Matt had a great first Father’s Day!
Matt and I headed down to New Jersey last weekend to Kai & Sarah’s wedding. Their intimate wedding took place at a gorgeous eco-friendly Bed and Breakfast that was set on farmland. Although the weather didn’t quite hold out (it started downpouring when the ceremony was supposed to start!) They were able to move the ceremony from the field to the front porch.
After the ceremony, although it was still drizzling, the weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! The Jazz band had many guests up and dancing in the barn. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the ice cream sundae bar was also a huge hit.

Congrats to the both of you! I hope you have a blast on your road trip out to Yellowstone!
So Its time to start updating a little bit, Last weekends wedding with Jen and Seth was a blast! Im so glad we were able to photograph their big day! The wedding was out in Syracuse and I was able to enlist the help of our friend, and fellow photographer, Mabyn. Overall it turned out to be a lovely day, despite the forecast for rain. It did help us with some awesome shots at a nearby Apple Orchard. Ill be adding more photos, but this is by far my favorite.

So Ive been slacking on the blog a little bit, Lots of things are going to be changing soon, so I have been busy with that. The blog has a new layout now, soon to be filled with lots of new posts and photos! The exciting new transition is slowly getting there.
Had a nice photo session with Allison this afternoon, It was supposed to rain but we got lucky and wound up staying dry! Had a blast as always and got some great shots!

Today was a lovely Sunday afternoon, Leah and I had an e shoot session with one of our wedding clients from this year. We had an absolute blast, took a bunch of photos down in the plaza then headed over to my old HS baseball field for some fun shots. These two were great to work!
So for those waiting for the big announcement, here goes. I will be doing a select number of FREE Senior portrait sessions and FREE engagement sessions sessions over the spring/summer. If you or anyone you know would be interested, feel free to have them send me an email for further details! I will be limiting the number of these so those interested inquire sooner than later!
I shot with Renee for the second time today, Had an absolute blast. It was a really nice day for a shoot, nice light and warm weather for a change! I really cant wait for the wedding season to kick in full blast! This was the first official outing with the new camera aside from Lily shots around the house, it performed flawlessly and I couldnt be happier! Enjoy the photos, more to come tomorrow and a sepecial annoucement so keep checking back!
